Usage of Cleaning Pig in Oil & Gas, Water Treatment Industry
1.1 Before launching, make sure that the pressure in the ball barrel is 0, then open the quick opening closure, put the pig ball into the launching barrel and close the quick opening closure
1.2 Open the front control valve of the launching device, slowly open the rear control valve of the launching device, and pay attention to the pig indicator and pressure change
1.3 When the ball indicator shows that the ball has started from the ball cylinder, open the outbound valve
1.4 Record the ball passing time and pressure, and inform the receiver to prepare for receiving the ball
1.5 Close the front and rear control valves of the launching device, open the blowdown valve, remove the pipe cap and open the cleaning valve, connect the compressor air, discharge the pigging residue in the launcher
1.6 Close the blowdown valve and cleaning valve, open the quick opening closure, clean the inside and outside of the launcher, close and lock the quick opening closure, and reset the pig indicator
2.1 Prepare to receive the pig ball according to the operation of the pig ball
2.2 Slowly open the front and rear control valves of the ball receiving device, slightly close the inlet valve, and pay attention to the pig indicator and pressure change
2.3 When the pig indicator displays the pig has enter the receiver, fully open the inlet valve and close the front and rear control valves of the ball receiving device
2.4 Open the blowdown valve of the ball receiver, remove the pipe cap and open the cleaning valve, connect the compressor air, discharge the residual liquid in the pipe and clean the receiver
2.5 Close the blowdown valve and cleaning valve, then open the quick opening closure and take out the pig
2.6 Clean the inside and outside of the receiver, close and lock the quick opening closure, and reset the pig indicator
