Application scope:

Structure principle:

It uses the discontinuous thread between the head cover and the cylinder flange for a quick connection. That is, the threads on the outer circle of the head cover and the threads on the inner circle of the cylinder flange are disconnected from each other. When opening and closing the head cover, intermittent internal and external threads are inserted alternately. The opening and closing process of the head cover is completed by rotating an angle (the center angle corresponding to the intermittent thread).

Ordering instructions

When ordering, the user shall explain the following conditions:

1. Vertical or horizontal. If it is used horizontally, whether it is left open or right open;
2. Provide interface dimensions. Inner or outer diameter, wall thickness, slope type, and size of the quick-opening blind plate. If the connected equipment is a seamless pipe. Whether it is a series or B series shall be stated;
3. Design pressure, design temperature/service temperature, working medium (including medium composition)
4. Select material (or provide equipment material connected with a quick-opening blind plate). And special requirements for materials;
5. It must be stated whether the overall heat treatment of the equipment is carried out after the quick opening blind plate is welded;
6. Other instructions.

Instructions:

1. Check that all instruments on the vessel have normal indications;
2. Check whether the connection parts of the container and quick opening blind plate are free of leakage;
3. Necessary explosion-proof tools, fire extinguishers, fire blankets, and other facilities are fully prepared;
4. One person is responsible for opening and closing the blind plate. Supervision of other personnel;
5. In the process of opening and closing, no one can stand in front of the quick-opening blind plate.

Opening steps:

1. Check the inner cavity pressure of the blind cylinder. It is forbidden to operate if the pressure indication value does not return to zero
2. Check whether the inlet and outlet valves of the vessel are completely closed. Does it have any source of pressure
3. Slowly loosen the pressure alarm bolt. At this time, we need to check whether there is pressure in the container
4. If there is no pressure, remove the pressure alarm bolt and its lock plate from the blind plate
5. Rotate the handle 60-120 degrees counterclockwise. Start the drive chain and mechanical device. And gradually retract the locking belt back to the door groove
6. Remove the Omni-directional handle and use the door hinge handle to rotate the door

Close Quick Opening Closure

(1) Careful and correct closing will make future opening operations easy and successful.
(2) The use of improper tools will cause irreparable damage to the safety interlock system.
(3) Never use a hammer to open the blind.
(4) The operator shall clean the sealing ring very carefully. And lubricated with light oil of engine oil type. Using too viscous grease can cause leakage under low pressure.
(5) Clean and lubricate the gasket surface with grease.
(6) Carefully lubricate the bolts with grease.
(7) Close the blind flange.
(8) Gradually tighten the stud bolts.
(9) When the two nuts brackets contact. I.e. stop screwing the bolts.
(10) Do not use a wrench to tighten the bolt.
(11) Coat vent bolts and bolt holes with oil.
(12) Restore the safety block.
(13) Restore the handle.
The quick-opening blind plate includes a blind plate cover, cylinder flange, safety interlock device, opening and closing mechanism, and support frame. The safety interlock function of the blind plate is composed of a safety lock plate and a pressure relief device.

Maintenance of quick opening blind plate

Lubrication operation

(1) Each time the blind plate is operated, the operator shall add grease to the blind plate.
(2) Lubricate the hinge shaft.
(3) Lubricate bolts, nuts, and sliding rails.
(4) Lubricate the vent bolt (thread and O-ring).

Replace sealing ring

(1) Check the seal every time the blind plate is operated. If the seal is not tight or damaged, replace the seal.
(2) Lubricate with engine oil. At this time, we should be careful that the seal ring includes the groove on the blind plate.
(3) The sealing ring shall be installed in the correct position. The sealing groove must be outward. Install the anti-flying spring behind the washer.

Operating precautions

(1) All relevant personnel shall be in place and take the walkie-talkie. They should keep in touch with the station control room. Prepare necessary tools such as an adjustable spanner.
(2) During the launching, pay attention to the status and switching sequence of each valve. Operators shall strictly follow the procedures. Prevent the occurrence of broken pressure.
(3) Pay attention to personal safety. Don’t stand directly opposite the quick-opening blind plate of the tee.
(4) If the pig is not sent out or the outlet pressure rises obviously, it may be stuck in the pipeline. Operators shall report to the dispatching room in time. The management shall decide whether to stop the transmission according to the situation.
